As Christmas approaches, many people are wondering what to give family members, friends and other loved ones. It is especially difficult with people who seem to have everything already and do not feel the lack of a single thing. Perhaps it is worth thinking instead that a gift far more valuable than things is time spent together, from which memories and good feelings stay with you for a long time to come.

If a loved one needs rest…

When choosing a gift, it is worth thinking about what would actually bring this person joy.

For a loved one who tends to work a lot, for example, a massage is a good gift, helping to relax both body and mind.

A massage helps loosen the muscles that have stiffened behind an office chair, and on the massage table your thoughts can move away from the everyday matters that otherwise keep pushing their way in.

A good choice is, for example, the “Hilot” massage, an authentic Filipino therapy method. During this massage the treatment techniques are adapted uniquely for each person. With their hands the masseur releases blocked energy channels and helps restore the body’s energetic balance.

Parents find joy in peace and quiet

Children are lovely, but for a good moment of rest from children’s shrieking there is Elamus SPA’s 21+ area, and a day spent there is something parents will certainly appreciate when the children are being looked after at the same time.

It is a magnificent sauna temple where you can enjoy 9 separate saunas along with the sauna masters’ rituals, which take you on a mystical journey. There are rituals for lovers of stronger steam as well as for admirers of a more meditative light aroma or sound therapy.

Between the sauna rituals you can enjoy refreshing pools, exotic massages and body treatments.

The gift recipient can spend a whole day at the spa – reading, dining, visiting sauna rituals and treatments and simply properly relaxing.

Children romp about happily at the spa

Children do enjoy toys, but moments spent together are considerably more valuable. And what child would not want to go to the spa with the family? Especially to the children’s area, where there is already plenty to do.

The children’s area of Elamus SPA’s whole-family centre is a true children’s paradise. There you can romp in the water, climb, go down slides, play with water jets and swim in the current pool.

Parents will certainly not be bored either. The centre has 13 different saunas and sauna rituals. Next to the children’s area is the 55-degree sauna Philosopher’s Stone, from where you can keep an eye on older children through the glass wall while enjoying the pleasures of the sauna yourself.

Quality time with colleagues or friends

To spend time more privately with a larger group, for example with colleagues or friends, you can rent the private room Rose Garden in the SPA21+ area.

The room fits up to 15 people, it has a large table, a projector and a big screen, and various snacks, dishes and drinks can be ordered to the room.

The sauna rituals are definitely worth experiencing

Whoever you come to the spa with, the sauna rituals are definitely worth experiencing – and they are free for visitors.

An experience is certainly guaranteed by the hot steam ritual, which comes with cold water and whisking. This ritual is sure to give you a good mood and energy!
