In summer the big draws at Elamus SPA are the outdoor terraces, where you can sunbathe, relax in a bubble bath or a hot tub and go to the sauna.<\/p>\n

On the whole-family spa side there are sun loungers for both adults and little ones, so everyone can soak up vitamin D. On that terrace the pleasures of water can be enjoyed in the bubble bath inside a boat, and you can take steam in the separate 90-degree Boat Sauna.<\/p>\n

The greenery-bursting SPA 21+ outdoor terrace, meanwhile, offers a truly hidden oasis where it is easy to forget you are in the city. With your toes in the grass, listening to birdsong and the murmur of the fountain, you may even meet a little hedgehog who often comes to rest on the terrace. You don’t have to pack a cooler and a picnic basket for the spa yourself either. If you are taking on a longer summer rest day, you can park the car for free in the car park and leave even at midnight.<\/p>\n

The more meditative rituals are the aroma ritual and the sound ritual. Both take place in a lower-temperature sauna and also suit those who do not want a very hot sauna. In a low-temperature sauna it is easy to close your eyes, sense different aromas and enjoy the alternation of hot and cold that the sauna master creates during the aroma ritual with a fan and a spray.<\/p>\n

The aromas help take you far from your thoughts and relax both mentally and physically, so that those 10 minutes feel like a fulfilling rest.<\/p>\n

During the sound ritual, various sounds are used to help take you on a journey from Tibet to Scandinavia, through Estonian forests and across the stormy Baltic Sea. Salt and shea butter help bring beauty<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Before going out to sunbathe on the outdoor terrace, we recommend the shea butter ritual from among the sauna rituals. Shea butter is said to have been one of the components of Cleopatra’s daily beauty routine, because it contains fatty acids beneficial to the skin, vitamins A, E and F, and is an effective moisturiser. There is a reason shea butter is called the gold of the sauna.<\/p>\n

The ritual takes place under the sauna master’s guidance, so that applying shea butter to the body brings you maximum benefit from the best properties of the shea tree.<\/p>\n

Among the summer skin treatments we also recommend trying the salt ritual \u2013 the ritual combines the beneficial properties of salt both through inhalation and on the skin. The sauna master brings a sea salt and honey mixture to the ritual, which exfoliates and heals the skin. The gentle sauna, meanwhile, gives off pleasant steam containing sea salt.
