Visitors are welcome at Elamus SPA from early morning until midnight – water pleasures and sauna experiences can be enjoyed with no time limit. Elamus SPA consists of three different areas, so spa lovers will find something to do for the whole day. Renewals await the spa soon as well: a 90-seat sauna show and ritual sauna is coming, and from the end of September the renovated children’s area will open.
Elamus SPA is a whole-family day spa where visitors are awaited by several different water areas, a large choice of saunas and outdoor terraces. If sauna bathing and swimming should make you hungry, tasty food and refreshing drinks await in Elamus SPA’s cafés. A sure hit for thirsty swimmers is the ice cream cocktail, while more filling mouthfuls include children’s favourites such as frankfurters or chicken pieces with fries, burgers, pancakes or various fresh salads.

If the sauna and a full stomach should make you tired, the spa has cosy canopy beds where it is pleasant to close your eyes for a moment. Those who do not want to sleep can enjoy a calmer moment, pick a book from the shelves and leaf through it lying down – Elamus SPA has a bookshelf with a very varied selection of books.
Elamus SPA consists of three different areas. First, the whole-family spa area, which has 13 different saunas, pools and a large, magnificent children’s area for children. For adults there is a separate 21+ spa area, which visitors can enter from the age of 18. The 21+ spa area is a cosier and more pleasant rest and spa area with 9 saunas. For water sports enthusiasts there is a six-lane sports pool, which also suits water and aqua aerobics training.

Elamus SPA has a total of 22 saunas with different characters and different temperatures. So every true sauna lover will find something to do all day and most certainly a sauna to their liking. The saunas range from the 42-degree Japanese bath, which in Japanese culture is already counted as a sauna, through 60- to 75-degree saunas, and end with a 100-degree sauna. For example, the spa has the Rose Sea sauna, one of the most romantic saunas, with a temperature of 75 degrees. True sauna gourmets are treated by Elamus SPA to a 100-degree gourmet sauna, next to which is a cooling cold-water pool. So at the spa you can have both hot and cold.

Although it is lovely to sit in the sauna and throw the steam yourself, Elamus SPA has 9 splendid sauna masters who take care every day that visitors experience true sauna experiences. For this the sauna masters have devised 6 different sauna rituals: relaxing ones, meditative ones, and for beauty gourmets, rituals with shea butter, for example. There is also the option of mud rituals, and of course there is the Estonian favourite, the whisking ritual, with high temperatures and letting yourself go.
A sauna ritual is a 10–15 minute sauna ritual guided by a sauna master, in which the sauna master raises the temperature themselves, uses various aromas and various whisks, and you can either close your eyes and relax pleasantly or let yourself go as befits a true Estonian.

A large choice of saunas, magnificent sauna rituals and a large team of sauna masters make Elamus SPA a member of the Aufguss organisation. Last year Elamus SPA was chosen as a member of the organisation uniting the world’s best spa and sauna centres, whose aim is to exchange sauna culture knowledge and the running of sauna rituals with sauna masters from different countries, and thanks to this Elamus SPA’s guests have the chance already this year to experience services offered by sauna masters from several other countries.

For Elamus SPA it is a great honour to organise Estonia’s first Aufguss sauna master competition this year, which means that in July the best among Estonia’s sauna masters will be determined at Elamus SPA, and in the autumn they will be sent to the Netherlands to represent Estonia alongside the world’s other sauna masters. “It is going to be a splendid journey, because this is now the sauna century. We can heat the sauna 100 years in a row and even longer,” says Elamus SPA head of experiences Margit Kurn.
So that the sauna rituals and sauna shows can be magnificent, a renewal is coming: a 90-seat sauna show and ritual sauna. Elamus SPA also promises especially great excitement for children and the young at heart from the end of September, because that is when the new renovated children’s area will open – an exotic jungle with three magnificent new water slides, complete with sound and light effects as well as a safe braking area, so that children can have a good time.
All these splendid experiences – sauna experiences, water pleasures and soon sliding down a water slide – can be enjoyed at Elamus SPA with no time limit; all visitors are welcome from early morning until midnight.
